Share I went to a friend's computer shop yesterday, and while waiting for my turn to take a seat and play I noticed a new CD from e-games... Having no clue about the game... I researched to get a grip of what it was -- to a point -- and try to get my hands on it. Apparently my friend hasn't installed the game yet... so I got no first glance reviews just as yet... but lemme try to get a good run down of what I've researched so far...

All right first off...

Players get to choose from eight characters -- warrior, scout, rogue, mage, priest, knight, druid, and warden -- to explore the world of Taborea. Characters can create items using their crafting skills. Upon reaching level 10 a character can opt to choose his/her secondary character class to advance character abilities. Players can also choose to change or swap classes by talking to the housekeeper in their respective accomodations, the characters also has their own houses to serve as a meeting place for friends as these also serves as a place to invite them and meet up, the character's house also indicates his progress in the games since it increases in size as the character levels up. The game boasts of its multitude number of quests, and unique arsenal of monsters, the game also features 2 types of dungeons: the dungeon instance for a six-man party and a larger one for thirty six members. The game also offers a class combination feature, which has 30 possible combination types.

There has been speculations and comparisons between Runes of Magic and World of Warcraft... but I'll leave it up to you guys to comment on that one instead... if you've had your hands on this game please do comment on the game while I haven't got to experience the game yet ^_^

Exteel South East Asia released a 2 New Mechanaut plus 1 new booster to fit.



Technically it's not really so new, digging up from my experiences from exteel.com from NCSoft the new booster looks like the Laser Wing booster which was released March 4, 2008.

The blue Mech with winged shoulders looks like my favorite... the Spazmok (Looks like I'll be getting back on my cockpit after all)

I'm trying to look up bits of information regarding the last mech, but to no avail... guess I'll have to wait for the release before I remember it's name...

Share Finally got my hand on Luna Online...

Well here goes my assessment after playing for at least 2-3 hours.

First thing I noticed, I'm not sure if it's a bug or a glitch but there seems to be a problem with the auto updater... My experience having internet connection problem was in between downloading the patch and the internet connection is cut off, next time you open the auto updater it will no longer download and instead go directly to packing the data (well partially downloaded data in my experience) and only thing to resolve that issue is to install and re-install luna online. Besides that, the interface is great and you'll have the choice to play window mode with 3 border color of your choice (grey, blue, and pink... for the girly girls).

Now on to the game... The characters are cute and the GUI (Graphic User Interface) is easy to understand, except for the tutorial button so to speak... which blinks right beside the treasure chest thing under the mini-map (in case you're also having a hard time finding it too). The playing style made me remember the RAGNAROK days where everything can be done with the click of a mouse... the game also boast of a wide variety of emoticons... and character motions... with atleast five dance moves to choose from. Players can also equip costumes given with the newbie supply in the inventory slot. The map is also not that big, so navigation is easier (or maybe because I've only been into 2 maps).

Overall, my playing experience was great and the gameplay was fun.

The patch boasts of new maps, new monsters, and new skill tree interface, plus a new mini game called "Poring War", where 2 parties consisting of 5 players battle each other trying to eliminate each other's angeling and deviling.

Ash Vacuum also released 2 new Godly Items: Asprika and Brynhild. But of course there has to be a quest waiting to be completed before getting these items, what do you expect? Nothing's for free nowadays.

Share I just saw another game flashed on TV5 2 days ago while watching Yamato Nadeshiko, They just announced a close beta testing for the game Luna Online last July 31, 2009. I'm still unaware of the on-going testing, and I haven't tested the game myself, that's why I asked my friend to download it in his computer shop, well anyways, I made my research about the game so lemme see if I can put up a good review from the sites I visited. I'll be making a detailed review after testing the game myself.

Luna online is is a fast pased, free to play MMORPG with cute characters and fun features. The game offers a "Date System" wherein couples will be able to enter an instance to hunt mobs that gives special loot to the couples. Also, there is a "Match Making System" wherein players can find companions for their quest or for leveling. This could pogress to the "Family System", which is a group of five players, where they choose who the Father and Mother will be. Being in a family means you can access the farm that helps you gain money in-game. The game is plotted in a world where there's a war between evil tribes and the elves, in order to end the war God separated the tribes between the normal land and the floating land.

Formerly known as Megami Tensei Online Imagine is an MMORPG based in the Megami Tensei universe. Aeria Games acquired the rights to the game from Cave Co. Ltd. (simply known as "MegaTen".) Originally released in Japan in 2007, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online was Cave's forst MMO title for PC. It features demons summoning, character customization, and real-time battle tactics. The game is available as Free-To-Play (FTP) with premium items available for real currency. On September 9, 2008 it was announced that Aeria Games and Entertainment had licenced the game for North American and European Release. Beta Invitations were first sent out on December 1, 2008, and close beta started the same day. Open beta started December 30. The official game is now available for download.

The game plot is in a future where the Earth is overrun by demons and plyers will take form of a demon buster, who fights and interacts with these Demons; featuring Japanese anime-style graphics which can appeal to a wide range of fans.

The game consists of real-time stategic commands, with "casting"and "cool-down" time. The character is controlled by the player, while the player's demon acts on AI, but can be commanded using the "Function" keys.

There are several types of weapons. Having a variety of at least 3 kinds (Slash, Charge, and Blunt) is essential to a melle player. Most equippable items also provide minor enhancing effects, except for torso and lower body which is mainly for defense boosts.

As the player begins to explore the post-apocalyptic world of MegaTen, where domnic forces run rampant and it is the player's job to defeat them. Players are given the option to join on of three groups: Law, who try to preserve the system and bring it back together; Chaos, who try to break the system; or Neutral, freelance mercenary types. A players alignment can be changed through answering certain questions on certain acts, or donating money to Law and Chaos Churches. While developing characters, players also have the ability to capture Demons and Spirits, through the use os special skills, and use the captured creatures in battle. These demons can also be fused together and create a more powerful demon.

There are two types of missions in Megami Tensei: Imagine, namely acts and quests. Acts are based on the storyline, while quests are small missions you can take for extra experience and/or money.

Share Another new month for the Rohan warriors as Rohan.ph releases new items and costumes this month of August.

New Items include scroll of penance and wrath; which gives successful attacks to be critical and stun the opponent for a short time, and the return of the critical type's most feared item; the critical defense scroll (which is still imba by the way since it's still available for 15Php, the same as when it was first released); which nullifies the opponent's critical attacks.

New Items are only for a limited time effective August 4, 2009 at 11:00P.M. until August 6,2009 at 4:00 P.M. so what are you guys waiting for grab those scrolls and gear up for battle, basically these items are only available for 2 days so better load up.

My note on the return of the critical defense scroll since the item will really make critical type characters really, really,really,really (this will go on forever) useless, since it will nullify critical attacks (literally drop the damage to zero). Rohan PH team should really increase the price of the scroll if they plan to make the item stay, or else it will remain as a limited item usage only. I bet this will increase the rants... (well since almost everyone I know plays Agi Dhan... which is really a point click type of Critical character haha... don't flame me on this one guys just my opinion). I hope Level Up! Games can handle all the rants and raves of the Rohan Community regarding the re-release of crit immunity scroll.

Good thing I'm a strength type Predator.... Psychic Phantom! Oh wait.. WTF no damage! How about you guys? What's your take on this issue? I would like to hear from you.

No rain could dampen the fiery enthusiasm shown by the fanatic Exteel players when the IAM Tour trekked to the mountain city of Baguio.

Showcasing their well-honed mechanaught skills, the Baguio players proved to everyone that the players from their city are a force to reckon with. After 3 days of intense competition, the best players came out eventually.

Five people dominated the Shop-to-Shop Challenge. They were: Cholo Hernandez, Harlito Buscaino, Bryan Keith Catu, JP Llanes, John Alexis Sabalburo. For their battlefield expertise, they took home as much as P6, 000 worth of cash prizes and game cards!

The Shooting Gallery did not fail to live to its hyped expectations as it also attracted lots of participants. But like all competition, many were called, but only few were chosen. The top three shooters who took home cool Exteel shirts were: Karl Lazaro, Bio Ian Jonathan, Kenneth Angeles.

Hardworking recruiters got their due reward when they were proclaimed winners of the Clan Recruitment event. They were: Ronie Phil Balatong, Khevin Sotero, Oliver De Guzman, Ralph Jayson Leybag, Ayro Roasa. They would also be donning the prized Exteel T-shirts the next time they play the game.

Beyond the Velvet Sky : The lost Hellion

I.Eligibility

• Must be a Rohan Philippines players
• Minimum level of characters should be 40

II. Schedules 4:00PM to 7:00PM

• Akhma – Monday July 27, 2009
• Marea – Tuesday July 28, 2009
• Syrephis – Wednesday July 29, 2009
• Torian – Thursday July 30, 2009
• Silva – Friday July 31, 2009

III. Event Mechanics

• GM’s will announce the start of the event at exactly 4:00PM
• Players are given time to prepare for the event, actual party invitations to GM’s will not be accepted until another in-game announcement is made signaling that GM’s will be accepting party invites.

There will be 2 GM’s that will be inviting Party members at set level brackets. These GM’s will be located at two spot in Rakhon Dungeon:

• Garrick will be at Rakhon entrance. He will invite 5 players within the level bracket of 40-55
• Wahrsager will be at Rakhon 2 or R2 entrance. He will invite 5 players within the level bracket of 56+

These 2 GM’s will be requring two “quests” in order to fulfill their missions. The following will be the descriptions of each GM’s mission:

Garrick’s Mission:

After Garrick forms a party (levels 40-55), he will then enter R1 and finish 2 objectives:

Objective 1:

• Kill 50 Lazurite Gnome Golem level 70
• Kill 10 Kappik Bloodmage level 81
• After all the monsters are killed, objective 1 will be completed. The surviving members of the party will then be required to complete a second objective in order to be declared as winners:

Objective 2:

• Kill Mirebreath Kniedhogg (level 65) in front of R1’s portal going to R2
• The party must kill that monster in order to complete objective 2
• Once this is done, the last 5 surviving party members of Garrick will be declared as winners.
• Once Garrick finishes objective 2 and leaves the party, he will sent out a signal to Wahrsager which is located at R2 entrance. This signal will inform Wahrsager that he could now start to invite party members as “reinforcements”
• Garrick will then leave the party, go back to R1 entrance and invite a new batch of players. The process will repeat again

Wahrsager’s Mission:

After Wahrsager forms a party (levels 456+), he will then move from his position to finish 2 objectives:

Objective 1:

• Kill 50 avatar of ice level 83
• Kill 10 Cyclone Catcher level 92
• After all the monsters are killed, objective 2 will be completed. The surviving members of the party will then be required to complete a second objective in order to be declared as winners:

Objective 2:

• Kill Mirebreath Kniedhogg (level 65) in front of R1’s portal going to R2
• The party must kill that monster in order to complete objective 2
• Once this is done, the last 5 surviving party members of Warsahger will be declared as winners.
• The last surviving party members of Wahrsager should stay at R3 entrance and await the next objective of Wahrsager
• Wahrsager will then leave the party, go back to R2 entrance and invite a new batch of players. The process will repeat again
• Once there are at least 15 players of 3 party’s worth of players at the R2 entrance Wahrsager will then send Krieger a signal that the way is clear and he could escort Raserei out of Rakhon.

Krieger’s Mission:

• After Wahrsager has 15 players or more at in front of R2 entrance, he will then call out Krieger.
• Krieger will emerge at Wahrsager’s vicinity together wil GM Raserei. He will invite 4 other players to his party to safely escort Raserei out of Rakhon.
• Krieger will not be attacking anyone. He will just run out of Rakhon. Also, Raserei will only be on follow mode to Krieger.
• Krieger’s mission is to escort Raserei out of Rakhon safely.

Story Arc twist:

Once Krieger begins his journey out of Rakhon, Rache will emerge. Her mission will be to kill Krieger and anyone who stands in her way.

• Rache will be targeting Krieger specifically. Anyone who stand in her way will be dealt with as well.
• If Krieger is killed 5 times, the event is over and his mission has failed.
• Killing both Krieger and Rache will yeild last hitters with rewards. Killing Raserei will yeild no rewards.
• If Krieger is successful in 3 out of 5 servers, Raserei will join her side.
• If Krieger fails his mission in 3 out of 5 servers, Raserei will join Rache’s side.

Event Rules:

• Parties could only choose to invite one GM in their party
• Players are expected to invite the GM’s properly and in a civil manner. GM’s will not attack during the invitation phase but they will be forced to defend themselves if provoked.
• Other parties in PK mode can attack the GM’s party. The escorting party must be prepared to defend themselves from any and all threats

• GM characters will only leave their current party when all of its members are killed
• If all party members are killed, the GM’s are free to accept new party invites.
• GM characters will accept invites on a first come, first serve basis.
• If the GM’s are killed, they will be re-summoned to the last coordinates where they were slain was slain.
• Usage of mounts is NOT allowed
• Suicide skill of Dhan’s will not be counted as a kill during the event and no prize will be awarded to those who use the skill
• Assassion mode is not allowed. Those who land last hits with the assassin person will not be counted as winners
  
• Use of any teleportation items and the “gathering hall” icon is not allowed.

Rohan Online will be launching commercially starting July 23, 2009.

To show RohanPH Team's appreciation... all accounts logged in from July 1 to July 19, 2009 will be receiving 300 RP's but will expire within 24 hours, as appreciation to all those who played during the testing periods.

Secondly, due to insistent public demand Rohan will also have a one-time, bigtime mall wide 50% sale, this includes all items from the item mall except for the packages. Sale will start 4PM, July 22, 2009 until 4PM the following day.

Lastly, and not to mention everyone's favorite... Rohan will also have exp and drop mods starting 4PM of July 23 until 4PM August 4, 2009.

The commercial launch will not be possible without the release of the Exchange market. We are slowly but surely improving the EM based on player feedback and community demand. We have added more convenient sorting options in the EM so players could focus more on finding the things they want to purchase.

So it was true! Level up took the franchise of Hello Kitty online! well for pinoy gamers out there who're fans of Hello Kitty this is your chance to experience the game... pinoy style.

Hello Kitty Philippines is currently running in Founder's Beta (This seems new to me... is it like close beta or something... better research haha) and not released yet. Registration is still available for interested testers (I'm sure there will be a wipe out after the tests).

I just got hold of the news from Rohan Philippines that the giants race will be released, finally.

The class isn't new to iROHAN players but for the RpH community, this will be a new update.

Just a quick introduction, the giants race are the biggest race in Rohan, they weild bulky 2 handed weapons (pole arms, dual sword and mace) they have the strongest melee attack and average physical defense.

Together with the release of the class is also the new map Draht, which will serve as the giant's starting map.

there will be a newfound excitement again for the RohanPh community... Time to research on those builds for those planning on making their first giant class!

Exteel is an online 3rd person shooter where players pilot a giant mech to compete with other players. Owned by NCSoft and distributed by iAM-Interactive for Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The game features highly customizable mechs for player to build to match their playing style, players can choose from fast moving-lightweight melee mechs to bulky cannon busting mechs. Mechs can be equiped with a large arsenal of weapons both dual weilded or combined with a shield. Mechs can also opt to have skills to deliver devastating attacks. The game really depends on the players maneuvering rather than the characters level.

The game has different match styles namely Deathmatch where every player on-sight is your opponent, Team deathmatch; if you feel like teaming up with other players, there's also Territory Control where securing and taking tactically placed waypoints is the key to victory, and finally; Last Stand if you feel like going against AI attacks and defending your base. The game has detailed ranking system for each of the match styles for players to see their realtime ranking.

The game boasts of the characters fluid dynamic actions, the only downside is the frequent game lagging... good thing the game has a ping counter, so before starting, check the other players latency to have a lag-less gaming experience.

Exteel is offered as Free-to-play, with optional item mall for those who want's to top-up and pay for advanced custom equipment.
