Alright, after a long time of hiatus here's a comeback post for all the peeps out there... I've been busy myself, playing a new game (after League of Legends that is) called Dragon Nest. This is a SEA (SouthEast Asia) server, as of this post, haven't heard if there will be a local server for the pinoys. Now on to my post...

I'm currently at level 15 playing as a Paladin (technically should have been higher since I transfered to the new new server released as of October.) and I can say the game is really enjoyable graphics wise it's kind of cute and reminds me of Grand Chase 3D style, with dungeons and dungeon bosses. If time permits me I'll be posting my very own leveling and and farming guides here. For now this will just be a brief post regarding me getting the game tested, for now I have to sign off since I'm sharing this computer with my sister... and really.. that sucks!

Now This just sucks! Just when I had my close beta key handed to me, LoL (League of Legends) Philippines suddenly went on Open Beta Phase.

But looking on the bright side at least I will get to play with a lot more players now... and there won't be a need for a key to play the game. I just went to update my patcher today and I saw the big sign on Garena Messenger, that LoL Ph, went OBT January 22, 2010. Together with it come a 3 day celebration and all heroes are free to play... Now guys go grab a seat and practice with your favorite hero!

League of Legends, a game derived from the Warcraft III's custom game Defense Of The Ancients, is now being hosted by Garena for the Philippine gaming community. The game is currently on it's closed beta phase, and is distributing closed beta keys to interested players.

I just got my beta key today, and I'm planning to test the game later on, I've been playing on the original League of Legends server which is published by RIOT Games, I haven't played with that much Filipino players on the server so I'm planning to transfer -- after testing though -- if I get to like the local distribution.

Just a brief rundown about the game, League of Legends is basically just like DotA, and players would notice some similarities, with some additional features:

SUMMONERS SPELLS: Summoners Spells allow you to assist your champion, unlike the regular spells unique to your hero, these spells are staple and the same for all, but you have to choose wisely because you can only select two spells per game.

RUNES: These are passives that you can bring on a game, you can choose from a vast selection of runes, from the store, these runes are only beneficial for your hero alone.
